Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of exploring the unique Elkhorn Slough ecosystem alongside our Looking Glass community, documenting the vibrant lives of sea otters, diverse bird species and other estuarial wildlife. Beginning just before the battery fire and continuing in its aftermath, this project highlights the wildlife of the Slough during the ongoing conservation efforts and as the unknown repercussions of this environmental event continue to unfold.
